A lot of us have disappearing bank accounts, but if you've got any cash left and you need it - fast - there's a new iPhone and iPod Touch app that's a must-have.
ATM Hunter, a free application from MasterCard, uses GPS to find your location and beams you a long list of cash machines in your area - from local bank branches right down to cash spots at bars and delis.
ATM Hunter gives you the exact distance, the address, the name of the institution and even the network the ATM is using, plus it intergrates with the iPhone's built-in Google Maps feature to pinpoint the exact location and direct you right to it.
If your GPS is on the fritz, the app also allows you to search by address or by typing in an airport code, or by narrowing your search to specific banks. You can also filter results by drive-through locations, 24-hour availability, wheelchair accessibility and more.
Our tests found it to be extremely useful - and accurate - and, while we can only afford just so many trips to the cash machine, we won't be deleting it from our iPhones any time soon.
The app, released last week, has been downloaded about 40,000 times and is currently listed as a featured app on iTunes.
